Elections
Election terms are as follows:
- Group 1 - Term expires 1/2027
- Group 2 - Term expires 1/2029
- Group 3 - Term expires 1/2027
- Group 4 - Term expires 1/2029
- Group 5 - Term expires 1/2027
Escambia County is the appointing authority. ESWCD District Supervisors are elected through the county's general election.
Group 1 will run in the 2026 general election
Group 2 will run in the 2028 general election
Group 3 will run in the 2026 general election
Group 4 will run in the 2028 general election
Group 5 will run in the 2026 general election
Vacancies:
When a seat becomes vacant the remaining supervisors appoint a replacement and the appointed supervisor serves until the next regular election. However, the term ending remains the same for each group.
Supervisors take office the first Tuesday in January after the election. Therefore, the elected candidate in the November 2026 general election will take office on January 5, 2027.
